I rarely post on the board, but just wanted to weigh in on the debate between the two QBs. I know that both sides are dug in trench warfare style with regards to their opinion regarding who should be the pick. While I have little doubt the Bucs will select Winston, I truly hope that Mariota is our guy. I'm a UCLA alum who has obviously watched a great deal of PAC-12 football and have little doubt that given the time required, MM will end up being the better quarterback. IMHO when you compare the top QBs in the league, I think a common denominator is how they tend to carry themselves.Watching FSU games this year (long before I knew the Bucs would be in position to grab either guy) I always thought to myself that it looked as though Jimbo sincerely did not like JW. I know that his teammates support him which a great thing, but when you're the face of a franchise you simply cannot have the immaturity issues that Winston has displayed . I hope that Winston can replicate Roethlisberger who I think is a strong comparison both in terms of playing style and off field issues. All in all, while JW is more advanced in terms of being a pocket QB, I wouldnt gamble on someone suddenly becoming more mature after becoming a millionaire.
