Just an obvious observation – and maybe an obvious one – but one of the things that concerned me about the rain delay was Jameis Winston coming out cold and starting slow after an hour in the locker room. Winston hit his first three passes – the longest being a 16-yarder to Vincent Jackson – but was 1-of-6 on his last six throws for 12 yards, and that 12-yarder was a check down to Charles Sims.
Winston missed Sims on another check down and missed Vincent Jackson on a potential 27-yard touchdown with 54 seconds left.
