Winstons next deal and managing the roster

So the big question going forward will be will we re-sign Winston this offseason? The question isn't answered yet as there is still a lot of football to be played. The debate will go on though.

As of 11/13/19 I think we need to get him on a team friendly deal. If not then I seriously consider other options. Its going to be tough to build a team around Winston when:

1. He is making a large chunk of the cap
2. We have lots of needs
3. We have a crap GM making decisions. Maybe even possibly a crap HC making the decisions since its likely Arians making the decisions.

Now maybe somebody can answer this for me. If we franchise tag Winston next offseason will the team have the room to make some other upgrades??
