No one is untradeable. To answer the question  - Yes, I  would trade him as a package  to trade up in the first round to get TB or BH.  I'd consider shipping him off for an early 2nd rounder and a conditional pick.  (although I doubt the reality of these)IMO -    Either Glennon starts or we move him and grab a developmental guy.  Our backup should be a heady veteran (I still like the idea of McCown and a rookie.)JMHO.

Schiano said he was going to be really good...  lol.

For all his faults Schiano could spot talent.  I wouldn't want him on the sideline calling plays for my team, but if he told me that player X was gonna be a good one I would draft that guy.

I wouldn't trade him. Simply put he did some good things. He did some bad things. Am I convinced he's the starter next season? HELL NO! Am I convinced he isn't the starter for next season? HELL NO! Lets see what he can do with some serious competition. No, its not a waste of a 1st round pick to create competition at the most important position in the NFL. Also not convinced bringing in a high priced vet kills the competition either. Get over that people. Let the best man WIN the job. Turn the heat up on Glennon and lets see how he does.

Give him competent coaching, scheme, and protection and see what happens....I think he'll be just fine.  He's incredibly smart and throws a fantastic ball...the only check that he hasn't shown yet is his ability to "carry" a team, that's a biggie though and I think he's got it in him.

I think we should give him a chance. He showed more than I thought he had. Maybe he can take a leap next year.

I think that's a solid take.  Probably not realistic, but probably the best case scenario.

While I'd be inclined to keep him, I wouldn't be *categorically* opposed to the idea of trading him.  It would need to be for significantly more than the 73rd overall pick though.  I don't see any rational way to think that he didn't significantly increase his value this last year.

Teams do not trade away their starting QBs.Right now, Glennon is the 2014 starter, he is a NFL QB, something the 2014 draft picks still have to prove.Pass happy league, QB being the most important position in football etc...and we are trying to gamble at QB, dealing our starter?

Keep in mind we have a habit of dumping guys that play reasonably well for us and they go on to dominate somewhere else. Blount, Bennett, Talib....

JMO opinion but Glennon stays for another year and sees how he develops under Jeff Tedford's tutelage. The Bucs do need to bring in competition/Fallback options also. If the Bucs don't think Glennon is ready then look for a trade with the Redskins for Cousins or the Patriots for Ryan Mallett.

Why would the Patriots get rid of Mallett? He has been learning from arguably the best QB in the game for years now and he's cheap... with Brady getting older, why would they move him????

McCown has hinted that he is retiring. Move on. This is not the QB we are looking for. http://www.sportsworldreport.com/articles/25955/20131230/chicago-bears-rumors-jay-cutler-contract-extension-josh-mccown-retire-marc-trestman-qb-future-phil-emery-options-2014.htm
