"Staying in the NFC South: Buccaneers are finalizing a deal to hire Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson as their offensive coordinator, per sources."
Per Schefter
- Total Offense: ~333 yards per game (Rank 14th).
- Points Per Game: ~20.8 PPG (Rank 24th).
- Rushing Yards: ~2,138 yards (Rank 8th).
- Passing Yards: ~3,700+ yards (with Penix Jr. developing).
"Zac Robinson will work on his offensive staff with the Bucs in the next week, but he'll definitely be keeping run game coordinator/OL coach Kevin Carberry, who worked with him with the Rams in 2021-22."
- Auman
Falcons offense under Robinson had struggles at QB and O-line, struggled on 3rd down conversions and scoring, perpetually behind in D&D, some of that being poor offensive line play.
I know the Falcons wanted him out. I'll be optimistic on this. Penix couldn't play under center & Kirk was a statue (unless playing the vaunted Bucs d).
Underwhelmed but hopefully an upgrade from grizzard which doesn’t say much
We could have done worse, like the cardinals QB coach, so I consider this a win
now onto a defensive coordinator and this team may be back in playoffs
big push for Robinson from Mayfield, reportedly

I know the Falcons wanted him out.
This is also a complete lie. Falcons fans wanted Cousins. Penix isn’t the guy and Stefanski will make sure that he doesn’t have to waist too much time with him. FYI Penix is already 31 years old.
Robinson with competent QB play should be great for Tampa.
We will be drafting a RB in this draft.
"While there is a ways to go on staffing, expect senior offensive assistant Ken Zampese and passing game coordinator TJ Yates to join Robinson and the #Bucs."
" Ken Zampese was Mayfield's QBs coach with the Browns in 2018, and was the Bengals' QBs coach when Robinson was there as a practice squad QB 2011-13. "Senior offensive assistant" with Robinson in Atlanta last two years."
I'm whelmed
How many yards and points has this guy's offense burned Bowles for while in Atlanta? He's scored damn-near 30 points a game in 4 games as Atlanta's OC. I understand why the team, and Bowles, thinks highly of him.
