How many yards and points has this guy's offense burned Bowles for while in Atlanta? He's scored damn-near 30 points a game in 4 games as Atlanta's OC. I understand why the team, and Bowles, thinks highly of him.
Maybe he can tell bowles what's wrong with his d. We know bonehead will still do the same things.
Underwhelmed but hopefully an upgrade from grizzard which doesn’t say much
Weak take.
Your take on a "weak" take is weak.
2022 - Brady/Leftwich - 18.2 points per game
2023 - Canales - 21.2 points per game
2024 - Coen - 29 points per game
2025 - Grizzard - 22.4
Robinson - 22.9, 20.8

We hired a first mate for the Titanic! Sweet!

yes there are a lot of interesting questions about Robinson and the Falcons days.
In his first year they are almost always 11 personnel and then in his second year almost always 12 personnel. Obviously part of that is they had O-line issues like the Bucs, so TE helping. I think they allowed close to the most sacks, so not sure that worked. Part of that maybe trying to highlight their TE (killed the Bucs). Also maybe the changes in QB.
So, not only more weapons here, but also what will the offense look like? Maybe Fire knows but assume Irving is good in the pistol. Dont know about wide zone runs, etc. a healthy Godwin should thrive, but I mean McMillan and Egbuka too. etc
good hire 👍 👍
Not a fan. Sorry this guy is a complete mismatch with what is on the Bucs offense.
Falcons offense free agents: Kyle Pitts, Tyler Allgeier. Pitts may be tagged, but if not he could be signed for a bout $15 mil per year. Not cheap, but he had a breakout year under Robinson and killed the Bucs. The Bucs can't wait for the draft to deal with the TE situation. Allgeier is a big bruising back, runs hard, and is a reliable pass blocker.

Former oc and state he played in college Pitts would be a match with our need for a weapon at tight end.
Not sure I want to target Pitts...He had a solid year (5 tds 3 against the Bucs in 1 game) but I cant see him being worth anywhere near what his price tag will be.
Kyle Pitts plays good against Tampa and Tampa only
over the last 2 years, he's had 34 games, 135 catches, 1,530 yards and 9 TDs
in the 4 games against Tampa, 29 catches, 404 yards, and 5 TDs
that's nearly 26% of his yards and 56% of his TDs.
so without the monster tampa games, dude is averaging like 550 yards a season and 2 TDs
hes no different that Cade Otton although i'd take Pitts over him
While it isn't the sexy name everyone wanted, I am interested to see what happens with him and this offense. Atlanta had a shitshow offense with issues on the O-Line and poor QB play (except against Tampa). It got better down the stretch when Cousins took over. I hope that bodes well for Baker and Company. He's not the name I wanted but he's here now and I will reserve judgment here until I see what he fields on offense.

Care to expand?
Definitely interested in your take. I thought (and could certainly be wrong) that pistol-based run game suits Irving and back to 11 personnel. But, I also thought our O-line guys were more gap than zone? Maybe thats what you mean?
Yes the pricetag for Pitts may be a bit high. Not so much for Allgeier. Not sure I want to target Pitts...He had a solid year (5 tds 3 against the Bucs in 1 game) but I cant see him being worth anywhere near what his price tag will be.
