READ-OPTION: ZONE, MAN OR GAP
I debated not having a read-option question this week since the question I really want you guys to answer will come next week with what you think the future of the Buccaneers’ running game should be gravitating towards – depending on this draft – but I suppose I’ll let you all get your #takes out on what we’ve already come to know.

In a perfect world (you don’t have to have a Bucs mindset with this), which first-round running game blocking scheme do you prefer – LSU’s Leonard Fournette, Florida State’s Dalvin Cook or Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey? Which do you think can have the most consistent success in the NFL, and if you were building an offensive line from scratch, which scheme would you base your run game around?
Would you draft and acquire some of the biggest, meanest guys in the league and go heads up with defensive linemen most of the game? Or do you think agility, intelligence and chemistry with zone blocking is what springs bigger runs?
Knowing that all three blocking concepts will be used in some capacity by every team – you’re not choosing one and never calling the other two – let’s hear what you have to say about today’s run game and which system you think carries the most success as a base. Please sound off in the comments section below.
