I’m not going to ask you whether or not you think firing Mike Smith was the right idea. Smith answered that question himself over his three years in Tampa Bay.

Instead I’ll ask you about what they did to replace him, specifically who they chose.

Was linebackers coach Mark Duffner your choice, or did you want to see defensive line coach Brentson Buckner get a shot?

And what about what happens when the season ends? Do you hope one of those guys already on staff emerges as the next full-time defensive coordinator, or are there some other names from around the league you’d like to see calling the shots next year? Perhaps Jack Del Rio?
