Read-Option: Where Did They Fail?

After watching the game yourself and reading some of my thoughts on the game, where do you think the Bucs failed the most on the offensive side of the ball?

Was it with Jameis Winston? Do you think Winston carries most of the blame for this one? How many of the turnovers do you put on his shoulders? What could he have done better? Where are you on Winston still being “the guy?”

Do you blame the offensive line? If so, who do you view as the main culprit? Is there a quick fix, or do you think the line, as a whole, is going to struggle? On the flip side, is this a unit you believe will get better with time? It is only Week 1, you know.

Or maybe it was the play calling or play design. I didn’t get into it too much in this Cover 3, but the offensive play calling and play design didn’t seem to do Winston many favor on Sunday. Were the play calls what you expected? If not, what do you wish they did more of?
