The NFL calendar barely slows down, even with the Super Bowl in the rearview mirror. Now the league will turn its’ attention to numerous offseason events, including the NFL Scouting Combine in two weeks. Here is a complete list of the key dates Bucs and NFL fans should know for this offseason.

March 1-7: NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis

March 8: NFL teams must apply franchise and transition tag to designated free agent players by 4pm EST. Each team can use only one franchise tag and one transition tag.

March 14-16: Tampering window opens for teams to negotiate with free agents on March 14 at noon EST.

March 16: League Year officially begins at 4pm EST. Free agents are now able to officially sign new contracts. Also, the trade window opens too.

March 27-30: Annual League Meetings in Palm Beach, Florida

April 4: NFL teams with new head coaches may begin offseason workouts. On April 18, clubs with returning head coaches may start their offseason programs too.

April 28-30: 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Official OTA (organized team activities) and mini-camp dates won’t be released until later in the offseason. Teams will also need to wait until early May for the release of their complete 2022 season schedule.
