With secondary still a big need going into draft weekend, the Bucs have been doing their homework on some of the top names in the draft. Players like Louisville’s Jaire Alexander and UCF’s Mike Hughes are two cornerbacks that the Bucs have on their private visit list already, and another secondary player Derwin James is on their as well.
Now, according to a report from Jared Tokarz, we know another name to add to that list in the secondary and that is LSU CB Donte Jackson, who is visiting the Bucs on Tuesday.

Jackson was a three-year contributor for the Tigers with two years as a starter. He recorded four interceptions in three seasons. He also ran a 4.32 at the NFL Combine last month.
Hey, Trevor!
I hope you are going to have a piece making sense of all of these visits. Chance of signing, at what point in the draft, ranking the players who visited, etc.
I wonder if some of these visits are anticipating the Bucs trading down to later in the first round.
Yes, I will put together a collection or a tracker of all these guys.
Cool beans!
Looking forward to it.
Great job Trevor! Intriguing prospect.
Light likes LSU players!
I Think FS Armani Watts/Texas A&M is coming in today too! The more looks the better.

Texas A&M S Armani Watts is visiting the Bucs tomorrow. Projected Day 2 pick is what our guy @LanceZierlein calls a a “feast or famine” prospect with all the physical tools to eat at the NFL level. Bucs need DB help. Took Watts’ teammate Justin Evans last year.
I wish they would pass the proposed pass interference rule that (like NCAA) draws a 15 yard penalty instead of spot of the foul. I would feel much better about the 5’10” DB, especially in our division. Back in the days of Ronde Barber the refs aloud more contact. Now there are way too many flags. I like James and Fitzpatrick at Safety and Josh Jackson at CB.
