We’ve talked quite a bit about Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans this week. Our own Trevor Sikkema even dedicated his Cover 3 to it by using film and statistics to examine how Evans fares when it comes to yards after the catch.
This time around we’re keeping the subject the same but switching gears a bit to a fantasy football outlook of Evans.
Evans came in as the No. 7 ranked wide receiver for ChatSports’s Top 12 receivers for the 2018 season.
“Evans scored only five touchdowns in 2017 after posting 12 the season before. He was the number one fantasy receiver in 2016 and that was coming off a season where he scored only three touchdowns in 2015. All I’m saying is don’t sleep on Evan’s crazy upside in 2018.”
Evans trialed Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham Jr., Julio Jones, Keenan Allen and Michael Thomas, in that order.
What are your thoughts on where Evans ranked among those guys heading into the fantasy football season?
