The races for the NFC South and two coveted wild card positions are heating up and the Bucs and Saints have themselves in position to compete for both.
After both teams picked up Week 12 win on Sunday, the NFL decided to re-position their Week 14 game to a later time slot. Originally scheduled for 1 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay and New Orleans will now kick things off at 4:25. The divisional game will be aired on FOX.
According to a league press release sent out Tuesday, the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions game that day will be cross-flexed to CBS.
The Bucs are riding a three-game winning streak after beating the Seattle Seahawks, improving their record to 6-5. Tampa Bay remains a game behind the NFC South-leading Atlanta Falcons (7-4) and a game ahead of the Saints (5-6). The reigning NFC Champion Carolina Panthers are in last place at 4-7.
Part of hitting the big time with back to back statement games! Expect the Ray Jay to be full with another raucous crowd. Can’t WAIT!!!!
Hell yeah! Ray Jay was rocking on Sunday. Loudest I’ve heard it in YEARS! Tampa fans are fickle, but give them something to cheer about and they will come out in droves. Even the bandwagon ones. Who cares, just go and yell!
Please yell for me!!!!
Great to see the bucs getting more primetime viewing. A couple more wins and our playoff position will be in view. It is fantastic not to be talking about next yrs draft picks at this time of the year. We just have to stay healthy.
