With the Bucs announcing on Monday that the organization will be placing a franchise tag on outside linebacker Shaq Barrett, it’s become official that quarterback Jameis Winston will enter free agency for the first time in his career.

Now that Winston will become free to sign elsewhere, the Bucs will surely be looking into what other quarterbacks will be available, including the long-time Patriot, Tom Brady.

As of Monday, OddsShark.com now lists the Bucs as the betting favorites to land the six-time Super Bowl Champion. This follows a report from NBC Sports’ Chris Simms on Sunday that claimed the race for Brady was down to New England and Tampa Bay as the NFL’s legal tampering window opens.
