No. 12 Cincinnati Bengals (7-9)
The Pick: Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama
Most mocks have the Bengals going with an offensive linemen with their No. 12 overall pick. Offensive line is certainly an option for them, but unless one of the top offensive linemen not named Quenton Nelson really starts to separate themself, perhaps they go for a talent they like more at a different position of need.
Rashaan Evans is not being talked about very much, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because we have Alabama linebacker fatigue as we’ve seen the likes of Reggie Ragland, Reuben Foster and now Rashaan Evans come through in consecutive years. Regardless, Evans is a violent football player who can play inside and outside linebacker for the Bengals and immediately upgrade that group.
