No. 13 Washington Redskins (7-9)
The Pick: Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
Derrius Guice is being slept on as a prospect. Barkley gets all the big-time hype, Ronald Jones has all the long highlights, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb had the in-season success. But, there wasn’t a lot of love for Guice in 2017.
Regardless of the recognition he didn’t get that he probably deserved, Guice is going to be a very good pro football player. He runs with a violent nature, and was more impressive than Leonard Fournette in 2016 when they were both there. Guice was banged up and had a terrible offensive line — and offense overall — in 2017, but he’s still a Top 20 player. Plus he’ll be just 20 years old on draft day.
Washington has a feature running back need.
