The Pick: Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State
I actually really like this cornerback class, so if Denzel Ward makes it this far, I’ll be surprised, but there are only 17 picks that can be made before this one, so who knows.
I have no idea what the Seahawks are planning to do in their secondary since they’ve been shopping Richard Sherman for what seems like over a year. If they are actively looking to move on, or even trade Sherman during the draft, Ward gives them that same style of player as an outside cornerback for them to make the move and have minimal drawbacks from it.
