No. 23 Los Angeles Rams (11-5)
The Pick: Arden key, OLB/DE, LSU
Though it hasn’t been confirmed exactly what the Rams gave up to acquire cornerback Marcus Peters, we’re assuming that it did not involve the Rams first round pick due to the nature of the Chiefs’ desire to get rid of a top player in football — that means it was likely character or locker room related and that always drives prices way down.
Whatever the case, the Rams filled one of their top needs by getting Peters and now in the draft they can focus on their next biggest need: upgrading their pass rush. Key has had an up and down last few years, but when his motor was running at 100 percent, he was a very nice edge player. He can fit in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips’ system.
