No. 27 New Orleans Saints (11-5)
The Pick: Connor Williams, OT, Texas
Connor Williams was one of the consensus top offensive linemen coming into the 2017 season, but a knee injury forced him to miss a good chunk of his final season at Texas and because of that he’s sort of become the forgotten man. Perhaps the Combine gets everyone in the media back up to speed with him, but for now I haven’t heard a lot of chatter around him, so I assume his stock is around this area.
The Saints got good production out of their rookies in 2017, something that propelled them to a playoff appearance. Though offensive line isn’t their biggest need, with the top linebackers off the board, selecting the versatile Williams would be good as a plug-and-play offensive linemen as a guard or tackle.
