As a whole, the Vikings have one of the bets rosters in the NFL. For a team that was just one win short of a Super Bowl appearance — and, if you ask me, a Super Bowl win since I think they would have bested the Patriots — this pick should be based on talent acquisition, wherever that may be.
Fortunately for the Vikings, Payne is both one of the more talented player left and fills somewhat of a need with Shariff Floyd’s career up in the air.
