The Eagles aren’t planning to bring back tight end Trey Burton and by selecting Dallas Goedert here, they can instead free themselves up to use Zach Ertz in any way they please while having a big bodied tight end to play inline, if need be.
Goedert would be a great chess piece for the Eagles offense to not miss a beat.
