No. 8 Chicago Bears (5-11)

The Pick: Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama

With the emergence of Adrian Amos as one of the league’s top safeties in 2017, and the addition of Alabama safety Eddie Jackson, the Bears are pretty set at both safety spots. The selection of Minkah Fitzpatrick here is based on him being the team’s shutdown cornerback on the outside.

The Bears could certainly use a wide receiver, but there isn’t really one that has separated themself enough to warrant such a high selection. Because of that, I instead have the Bears leaning talent more than bigger need while still upgrading a position.
