The last Pewter Report mock draft of the year. Sad, isn’t it – I’m kidding, I know you all are probably more than excited that this is the last one.
For our last mock draft of the year, we decided to give you all of our opinions in one with a three-way, free-for-all, last-man-standing mock draft. In the table below, Scott Reynolds, Mark Cook and Trevor Sikkema each went through the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and gave you their picks of what they think will happen – not necessarily what they think should happen.
We have truly enjoyed giving you all the draft content you’ve requested this year. The input and interaction from Pewter Report readers during this draft season has been better than we could have expected. You all have made this a fun process for all of us.
We invite you to join us tonight and every night of the NFL draft for our Live Stream Event from One Buc Place where the three of us will be gathered around to watch the draft as every pick unfolds live from any computer, phone or tablet device – anything that has WiFi, really. Hop in and watch, comment in the post or in the chat room, and come be a part of draft night with us right from your home or draft party as we watch who will become the next Tampa Bay Buccaneer.
With all that said, here are our final mock drafts of the season.

Cool final mock guys, it’s going to be a crazy Thursday night. Seen it yesterday and here with you guys, only Trevor had Corey Davis gone before us and Mark doesn’t have him in the first round. Going to try and join the live stream. Go Bucs
I hope the FO is paying well for this!
Man I hope y’all are wrong about Adoree. Budda is a safe pick though, I can deal with that. At least he can hit and cover, a dynamic player.
Trevor has the most interesting pick of McCaffrey at no. 2 overall, to the 49ers … on an obviously QB-needy team, no less. And all three PR mockers going defensive back in the first for the Bucs.
Should be real interesting tonight.
For ‘most interesting ‘ I’d go with the Titans moving up for a QB…
I’d call that mock ridiculous, not interesting. Anything is possible, this is extremely unlikely.
I picked Jameis two years ago, Hagreaves last year… I’m going with Forrest Lamp this year. I could see Budda as well, but think that would be after trading down in the first round. Should be a fun one tonight!
Go home Trevor, you’re drunk.
Excuses me, sir, but I’m not–*hiccups*
Budda Baker and Adoree Jackson are bulletproof. Love these mocks!!!
Hoping they can find a trade partner to move down a few spots and still get one of those players. You guys have swayed me towards a D pick being a good thing, but I’d still rather see Davis taken at that spot
Trever going full on YOLO
Mark doesn’t have WR Corey Davis going in the first round. There is no way he falls to the 2nd round. I
Jevon Clowney was a sure fire #1 pick. How many championships have the Texans won with two of the best D ends in football? They’re still looking for a Q.B.. The Browns got a boat load of picks by passing up Wentz, now they’re looking to give those picks up to move up for what? A Q.B.. Lynch, 49ers G.M. knows he’d have more rings if his old Buc teams had what? A Q.B.. Browns, and Niners shock the world tonight when they pick quarterbacks, 1, 2. D ends, and safeties don’t win championships, Q.B.’s do.
I’ve been extremely busy over the past few months (a lot longer than that frankly) so I didn’t get a chance to post as much as I have near past drafts. However, I’ve been reading when I can and I didn’t want the draft to pass buy before I posted who I think the teams will pick. As for who I WANT the Bucs to pick who I think is the most likely to be there, I’d say Cam Robinson.
