CURRENT BUCCANEERS RANKING: 8 (-)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Despite the tough loss this week, I still believe the Buccaneers are a top 10 team and better than the one that gave them their first defeat of the season. Tampa Bay did not play their best football on Monday night against a Pittsburgh team that always shines in prime-time, as they committed too many mental errors that were not characteristic of their play from the previous two games. Turning the ball over four times is not a winning formula but this top-ranked Bucs offense, which averages 473 yards per game, gave Tampa Bay a chance until the very end. While the offense has carried this team for the most part, Tampa Bay’s defense now has an opportunity to prove what they’re capable of against a struggling Bears offensive attack. There’s no doubt that more questions will be answered about that side of the ball and we’ll get a better feel for this team’s playoff chances after Sunday.
