We all make mistakes, we have all done things we are not proud of, and nobody is perfect. Learn from your mistakes and be smart. We got ya back Jameis! Come back strong and tear it up!

Funny, you could have written that on a FSU message board circa 2014 and it would have read the same exact way. In fact I’m sure I could pull some up for you if you like.

Sadly, the same issue that Winston was flagged for in college with multiple incidences of immaturity and character issues, the same flag that Jason Licht ignored in selecting him first overall in 2015 is the same thing that he is about to serve a 3 game suspension for due to something he was accused of in 2016.

But yeah, we all make mistakes…but not everyone makes the same mistakes over and over again costing them millions of dollars in the process. Those that do have pretty significant problems.

Jesus Christ dude are you a Bucs fan or a narcissist dick?? Idk how old you are and frankly don’t care but when we were younger and in our teens or in college we did stuff that got us in trouble and had to learn and grow up from. I’ve done stupid things, you’ve done stupid things and so has everybody else so stop sitting here parading around casting stones and kicking Winston when he’s down like you’re a perfect saint. He’s serving his suspension and accepted his punishment like a man and trying to mature in the process. We already hear enough negativity and bs from ESPN and every outside source outside of Tampa about Winston dude so take it somewhere else.

“He’s serving his suspension and accepted his punishment like a man and trying to mature in the process”

Um, he lied about his alibi, attempted to get his friends to vouch for him completely denied he did anything until the NFL did a 9 month investigation, put enough evidence out there that he had to shut up and take the punishment they handed him. All of this while admitting he didn’t remember what happened (because he drank too much), but then still thinks he didn’t do anything wrong.

Jameis Winsotn was lying about all of this as recently as a few months ago.

Winston was also initially suspended for the first half of the Clemson game due to yelling at the student union, but it was turned into a full game, presumably after how he handled that accusation as well. Yeah man, real mature. But by all means take shots at me.

Really? Were you there, do you KNOW what happened? No, so stop acting as if you do…

Good advice… Once you are behind the 8 ball you never escape it. Innocent or not the narrative of the mainstream media will forever put the scarlet letter on you.

Just because you are paranoid doesn’t meant the media isn’t out to get you.

Lots of bad people out there to make a $$$$ off of you one way or another.

Obviously you never read THE SCARLET LETTER or you’d know that Hawthorne’s point is that a society that oppresses such a woman (in this case) has something wrong with it. The novel is a comment on the judges more than on her “adultery.”

So runole is criticizing the critics who criticize Winston, the Scarlet Letter is a criticism of critcs who criticize a social outcast, and you are criticizing a critic who was criticizing critics.

I think it is safe to say this issue has jumped the shark.

We can only hope Jameis learns from this and becomes a smarter / better man. Otherwise, he will be out a job and we start over at QB AGAIN! Scares me because he didn’t seem to learn much from the incident at FSU.

Its long been time for Jameis to grow up. I do think this is his last straw. He’s really now under the microscope. It took Moss a while to mature also. He’s a great mentor for Jameis cause he’s been there with episodes of trouble in his life. We fans are pulling for Jameis. But our patience is growing thin. Time for him to..Ruck Up and become the player we thought he could be.

I don’t know what fight there is for Jameis?
Maybe what he is trying to say is learn from your mistakes.

Well Devasher, I can remember going to clubs in Ybor and patting a few ladies on their asses as they walked by at 22. I was drunk and stupid, but you know what, I never got arrested and I even got LAID a few times for being bold. Go figure.

        1. 6.1.1.1

          Devasher

Hmmmm you just rationalized touching people without there consent by typing:

“I even got LAID a few times by being bold.”

You can get laid without grabbing women’s asses too you know. But I can see why you’d rationalize it as minor then given your own personal history and beliefs.

But I’ll ask you this; if one of those ladies you grabbed yelled at you would you deny you did it and tell them they were confused like Winston spent the past 9 months doing?

Does it matter to you that he didn’t take responsibility for it when it came out in the first place?

The thing is…I am good looking and when you’re good looking, they don’t mind that you grab em by the pussy! Our president has it right! Be a man. TAKE what you want. OUR PRESIDENT gives you permission.

When I was 23 (without fame and money) I thought all of them belonged to me. This was the sixties. Flash forward 50 years later and maturity, a family of girls, and the loss of a gallon or two of testosterone, I have a different prospective.
We say he’s 23, but when this happened he was 21, he wasn’t engaged (I believe), and he wasn’t a father.
I’m pulling for the kid. But one more f— up and I’m done. As Moss said, he needs to surround himself with decent, wise people, and (I say) stay away from alcohol.

Your QB might be a dirt bag if getting advice from Moss and D. Jackson saying he’s all good. Lol. Seriously though time to man up and grow up. Walk the walk and reach your full potential. Otherwise it’s back to draft for Tampa and huge set back, most reasonable fans want him to succeed and grow up not us start over. Time will tell what happens, but patience is getting thin with fans and coaches and Glazers I’m sure.

There might not even be a season this year as the anthem mess could lead to a players strike if the NFL plays hard nose with NFLPA.

My thinking is that the Glazers will have more patience then most think, after all they have held fund raisers for the Pussy grabber and chief, a married man that has had unprotected sex with a porn star and a playboy bunny, a pediphile that hangs out in dressing rooms of teenage beauty pageant contestants and brags about it on the Howard Stern show.

Jameis looks to b a good shape I’m with the whole uber nfl incident. Nfl made a decision he wasn’t released he is the qb I will support until further notice. I’m not paid to care about what he does he is a guy who throws a ball for the team that I support. It simple. All the “apologist” or “moralist” can’t nor won’t stop me from supporting jameis on the field. I hope is a better man off the field. But what he does with his life is on him. But alot of posters with their agendas are crazy. U hate or love a guy u don’t know and u think u know him because of reports both good or bad when honestly he is somewhere in the middle.

I’m a Gator (undergrad and masters) yet I thought that Winston was the best pick to make with the #1 spot. Too much accuracy and arm strength combined to pass up on. However, this is put up or shut up season for him. Bottom line. This three game suspension will likely sabotage the season…hope I’m wrong. Fear I’m not.
