  1. Completely agree with you Scott, Devin White at five, unless Gruden takes him at four. He had Brooks, and knows what that caliber LB, leader can do for a defense. I think they picked up a FA LB tho so I see them going DT, DE.

  2. I really enjoy the inside information Pewter Report gives us Buc fans, but the fact that Pewter Report has pretty much known the Bucs pick for several months and now so does everyone else is not a good thing.

I hope Devin White ends up being a Hall of Fame type player, but the ineptitude of this franchise is on full display when they have let it be so widely known whom they are drafting tomorrow night.

  3. I like White as a player but the topic of value will probably come up often given it has been a long time an ILB has been drafted in the top five.

  4. Yeap Seattle Seahawks Aaron Curry 2009. Pretty sure Licht & BA are smart enough to not screw this up though. D line is #1 on the Big Board mark down.

  7. Wausa, who exactly with the Bucs organization has let it be known who they will draft? I have not heard a peep, I hear all the draft pundits and their speculation.

Here is a recent quote from Pewter Report: ‘In fact, PewterReport.com was the first media outlet to link White to the Buccaneers at No. 5, dating back to January 18.’

The Bucs pick fifth and Pewter Report has known the Bucs were targeting White at 5 for over three months(they have said so multiple times in articles and their podcasts/interviews). Many other news outlets have reported the same thing; all though, Pewter Report deserves the credit for getting the information before any other news outlet.

The Raiders pick right before the Bucs and there is no consensus on whom they are picking and the same could be said about the Giants picking right after the Bucs.

Showing your hand in the draft is not prudent in my opinion. It shows a lack of discipline by the organization. We should have educated guesses at this point, but that should be the extent of knowledge anyone outside of Jason Licht and Bruce Arians should have right now.
