As many Buccaneers return to Tampa for the team’s optional workout program, football isn’t the only sport in the spotlight for running back Dare Ogunbowale.
Ogunbowale’s sister, Arike, is also in Tampa for the NCAA women’s basketball Final Four where she – and her Notre Dame teammates – will take on Baylor in their second consecutive NCAA finals appearance on Sunday.

Arike shined in Notre Dame’s semifinal matchup against UConn, leading the game in scoring with 23 points while adding six assists on their way to an 81-76 victory on Friday.
A win over Baylor would be a second straight national championship for the younger Ogunbowale sibling, adding to an already impressive resume that includes two appearances on the Women’s Basketball Coaching Association’s all-american team and a 2018 ESPY for the year’s best play.
