FAB 5. SR’s Buc Shots

AB PLAYED WELL IN BUCS DEBUT: New Tampa Bay wide receiver Antonio Bryant had a solid debut in red and pewter against New Orleans on Sunday night, catching three passes for 31 yards. Brown played 39 snaps in the loss to the Saints, which was 78 percent of the Bucs’ 50 offensive snaps. Brown’s playing time cut into Scotty Miller’s playing time quite a bit as Miller only had 19 snaps on Sunday night, which is just 38 percent of the team’s total snaps.

“I think it was just one play [with a miscommunication],” said Bucs head coach Bruce Arians. “The rest of the time, Tom [Brady] made a couple good throws [and Brown] made some really good catches. The first third down, we should have went to him [but] decided to go to Gronk (Rob Gronkowski). I think he played more than I wanted him to because of the situation of the game. For his first ballgame, he did fine.”

BRADY STILL HAVING AN ELITE SEASON IN TAMPA: Despite not throwing a touchdown pass for the first time all season and throwing a season-high three interceptions in Tampa Bay’s 38-3 loss to New Orleans, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady is still having a great season. Brady has 20 touchdown passes on the season and seven interceptions for the 6-3 Buccaneers, and is the third-highest graded QB in 2020 by Pro Football Focus.
