FAB 5. SR’s Buc Shots
• STEVEN CHEAH BREAKS DOWN VEA’S BIG DAY: Our good friend (and rabid Bucs fan) Steven Cheah has an excellent film breakdown of Tampa Bay nose tackle Vita Vea, who was dominant in Denver and recorded his first sack of the season in the Bucs’ 28-10 win over the Broncos. Check out his analysis, and make sure you tune into Cheah and former NFL offensive lineman Willie Colon on the Going Deep Podcast on Barstool Sports.
Vita Vea is becoming a dominant and complete Defensive Tackle. Take a look at him wreaking havoc on the Broncos in both the run and pass game in my latest breakdown. #Bucsfilm2020wk3 pic.twitter.com/4xTDofACHX

• TREVOR’S BACK ON THE PEWTER NATION PODCAST: Pewter Reporters Jon Ledyard, Mark Cook and Matt Matera were joined by former Pewter Reporter and current draft analyst on the The Draft Network, Trevor Sikkema, to discuss the Bucs vs. Chargers game. It was great having Sikkema back on the podcast – it seemed like old times! Make sure you give this one a listen before Sunday’s kickoff.
Pewter Nation Podcast Episode 214: Charged Up For Trevor’s Return
Pewter Reporters Mark Cook, Ledyard and I discussed the Bucs’ 28-10 win over the Broncos immediately after Sunday’s game. The defense won the day with six sacks, including two from Shaquil Barrett, while Tom Brady threw three first-half touchdowns. Relive the magic by listening to Episode 213.
Pewter Nation Podcast Episode 213: Shaq Attack, Sack Attack
There is no better time to listen to a new Pewter Nation Podcast than right now or early Saturday morning during your workout or while running errands. The next Pewter Nation Podcast will be recorded Sunday night after the Bucs vs. Chargers game, followed by a preview of the Bucs vs. Bears game next Tuesday.
The popularity of the Pewter Nation Podcast continues to grow. • BETTER OFFICIATING LEADS TO MORE SCORING: Rob Pizzola had an interesting discovery that he shared on Twitter this week. Scoring is up in the NFL this year through three weeks, while holding calls are down. There is nothing that derails a touchdown drive like a 10-yard holding call. Through three games, Houston and Baltimore don’t have any holding calls, according to Penalties.com, and a handful of teams only have one holding penalty so far. Unfortunately for the Bucs, who are the fourth-most penalized team in the league, they have five holding calls already, which ranks third in the NFL.
Why is NFL scoring up 5.4 points per game vs. last season? It’s simple. The game is being officiated way differently. pic.twitter.com/PrKWiifgq2
