Almost 6 weeks since we have seen Vea at practice in pads. Not a word other than he is progressing. I am worried that another 1st round pick at a position we were not expecting will get underused or not used at all. I sure hope that the DL is powerful and our secondary has a chance to be successful. Or it will be a very long season and I will have to start looking at 2019 mock drafts sooner than I would like.

Vita Vea pulled up lame when he ran his 40 at the combine, and did not do any more drills after that. I’m wondering now if this calf strain is connected to that injury, and is now more cause for concern moving forward.

Do what the steelers are doing with the Leveon Bell situation…next man up. No excuses. Ball out or be out.

1st and 2nd round picks not on the field for Game 1. Bad sign of poor things to come in 2018. How many other teams can’t get their 1st and 2nd picks on the field for Game 1? I’ll bet not many. This team will not win more than 5 games and its time for a complete overhaul.

We have 3 second round picks all will play except maybe MJ Stewart. Drafting Vita over James and Minkah had me scratching my head. I think Vita can be good but nothing more than a run stuffer. He could help lineman stay off of David and Alexander but when I watched his tape the few sacks he had the QB was being rushed from another side and Vita was in the right place at the right time.

I’m referring to Ronald jones who can’t get on the field because he sucks. That’s a whiff if you can’t pick a starter at running back in that slot.
