In cross-conference news that could impact the Bucs, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has tested positive for COVID-19. Vrabel and the Titans spent the past week in Tampa Bay, participating in joint practices with the Bucs. On Saturday night Vrabel’s Titans defeated the Buccaneers in preseason action, 34-3.

Vrabel told Tennessee media that, as of Sunday afternoon, no other Titans coaches had tested positive. Bucs head coach Bruce Arians didn’t mention anything in his comments to the media nearly an hour before Vrabel’s presser.

In several pictures throughout the week, Vrabel spent a considerable amount of time chatting with Tom Brady and Bruce Arians on the practice field. At least one day after practice, Vrabel was seen talking in close contact with Brady and the quarterback’s son, Jack. Tracking chips worn by all players and coaches will determine how the Bucs proceed with potential close contacts.

When Arians last spoke to the media, he said the team was set to be 92 percent vaccinated by August 13. The Bucs head coach also said the team should be almost 100 percent vaccinated by the regular season. Tampa Bay is set to resume practice on Monday in preparation to play the Houston Texans on Saturday night.

Since BA followed the science and was smart enough to get vaxed, if he contracts the virus it will be on a limited scale. A lot of big mouth ant vaxers and mask types are starting to contract this virus now and I have no sympathies for them.

Agreed. If ER’s start running out of room for non-covid patients, maybe stop giving care to those who couldn’t be bothered to vaccinate (if eligible to receive it of course)

The Delta Variant is stronger. I had my last Covid-19 Pfizer January 20 so I have four more weeks before I can get the booster. I’ve been wearing an N95 mask now versus the regular mask since last week. This way I have a less chance of getting it. Most of the trades people I have been dealing with, haven’t gotten the shots and the the excuse when I ask them is “I’m waiting for FDA approval”. What’s funny is they have no problem using other none FDA shots that Fox News and our Governor promotes that has no FDA… Read more »

And what vaccined would those be horse? Because they have evrry right to be skeptucal without and fda approval. Heres a fun fact. That ofizer shot you got. The ceo of the company was recently barred from travel. you know why? Because hes not even vaccinated. You know the ceo of the very company you have no prblem jabbing their chemical into your arm, isnt even vaccinated.

You have it backwards. The delta variant is more prone to be carried by the vaxxed because it is not completely neutralized with the way the gene therapy shots work. Those with natural immunity have anti bodies that do neutralize the virus so it can not spread or spawn into variants.
There will be more and more variants because of these vaxxes. They are not traditional vaxxes and give people a false sense of security.

And alot of you vaccinated sheep are still getting it and passing it while on your high horse. But don’t worry we dont feel one bit of adness for you. I won’t be getting it and I am just as safe as you sheep are. If the government told you to shove a baseball bat up your ass to stop it you run right to a sports store. So funny and sad at the same time.

Well, now the narrative is trying to shift. The NFL has been floating the idea (as has our government) that if you get the COVID vax then you will not contract COVID. If that was not the case, they would not have all of these fines, rules, and whatnot for those who chose to not get that vaccine. The truth has always been that unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals have the same chance to contract the virus, it is in the IMPACT where the differences can be seen (jury even still out on that). I am not an anti-vax person at… Read more »

The vaccine does reduce your chances of contracting symptomatic COVID. Greatly reduces risk of complications. I’m not sure how you can say the jury is still out on the impact, assuming by impact you mean hospitalization and death rate of those infected. I think the numbers are very clear there. If by impact you mean safety of the vaccine, I believe the results to this point are pretty clear as well. It’s not really about taking one “side” of an opinion… there is scientific data to back it up.

This is our problem for the unvaccinated; they are getting incorrect information. No Vaccine is a 100%, but if you get the shots it reduces your risk substantially. Think of it this way, would you rather have a fully loaded 10 round magazine for your pistol if someone was trying to kill you, or only 1 round in your magazine? When are people going to wake up?

No, you’re chosing to take a vaccine that’s produced by criminals and try and back it with the “data” you’re given. How gullible you and many others are. There’s nothing “wrong” with the unvaccinated. What’s wrong is the amount of people who are led to believe that what they are putting into their bodies is actually protecting them. If you’ve taken Pfizer’s version, congrats, you have successfully been sucked into one of their latest schemes. When are you going to wake up? I’m sorry that me chosing to bet on myself doesn’t fit your narrative. I’ve got an impeccable immune… Read more »

So everyone talks about the July study of 83 people in Dane County that showed that the viral load at its peak was just as high in a vaccinated individual as it is in an unvaccinated individual. The results were released without any peer review. As we study more than 83 people and other independent groups and the science community does peer recognition, we may find the same thing or our understanding might have to adjust. However, do not forget that many more studies were done besides that 83 person study. It seems there is overwhelming scientific evidence to suggest… Read more »

It might reduces symptoms for like 2-3% of the population. But yes you are correct the gene therapy vaxxes provide a false sense of security.

Got to think that ultimately they got Covid from the same source. So in the end if Jesse has fewer symptoms and better clinical outcomes and a more rapid decline in viral RNA load it might have been smarter to get the vaccination.
Since Pissedoffbuc1988 brings up this anecdotal story about Jesse Jackson then to talk in detail of his wife’s health makes sense for good perspective.
Thanks TCB2W!

So you’re trying to compare two people who were hospitalized and saying “well that person isn’t on oxygen but the other one is and they weren’t vaccinated” like that proves your point.. Lmao 🤣🤣 wow. Seriously wow. Grasping at straws to try and prove that getting vaccinated helps in any way.

These vaxxes are not real vaccines as they are gene therapy. All these vaxxes accomplish is that the virus lingers in the bodies of the vaxxed and buys the virus time to spawn into variants.
Imagine if you let a burglar sit on your front porch trying different keys all the time to open the front door. The burglar is eventually going to find the right key.
Natural immunity and real vaccines is the way forward not gene therapy which will continue to spawn variants.

Yep, all correct and exactly why I won’t be getting the vaccine. Also Israel is over 80% vaccinated. Guess what? It’s not going away. Also over half people being hospitalized are vaccinated. The way forward is treat early and recover/build natural immunity. Unless your very old or sick vaccine makes no sense to me. I had Delta about 3 weeks ago at age 53. Fun? No not all and was like bad flu, but I treated it early with supplements found to work well and Ivermectin from a Dr. no shortness breath and no hospital. Now protected for life with… Read more »

Agree with you guys. I love how we chose not to put some experimental drug in our healthy immune systems and we are the bad guys. My body my choice. Horse knows because he’s been given all the data by the experts. So because he and his fellow vaxers choose to believe in it, those of us who don’t and have valid reasons not too, we’re the reason for the spread even though they are still capable of spreading it. If you’re vaccinated, you shouldn’t have to wear a mask, socially distance, yet you still have to do all those things. So it’s not a vaccine. At most it’s a depressant that weakens your immune system. It’s an experimental drug made by Pfizer who is an obitual offender of false… Read more »

Just another attempt to divide the country. Saw a few people wearing a variety of masks at the game. Most must breathe out of their chins or their necks. Some wear them as an earring. Who knows when those things get cleaned or replaced? Restricting breathing when it’s so hot and humid might be a problem for some people. It’s quite obvious that masks are ineffective when people who wear them like a badge of honor still get, and likely transmit, the virus. If they worked so well, why weren’t we wearing them every flu season? I got my shots,… Read more »

OMG Scubog; not you too? The mask were never meant to be used as the savior from the virus, but if everyone had warn them it would have helped. Even the N95 has some risk. It’s the vaccine that makes the biggest difference. We keep getting the flu shots because we could never get a large percentage of citizens to take the shots; just like now, except this virus is now much more deadly without the shots.. If we do nothing; it will be millions in our country, not hundreds of thousands, Unfortunately we had a chance in 2020 to… Read more »

I got my shots and will get the booster when available. But in my view, that mask does next to nothing to protect people from a virus. Mostly for show. People need to know more of the facts and not listen to the limited, tainted data from the media. Hospitals have a lot of Covid patients, but the vast majority have other issues contributing. People can decide for themselves. “Follow the Math” and figure the extremely small % of people affected.

Maybe the outcome for this season will be dictated by number of key players on COVID protocol for each team. On whether it occurred on a must win game or games

Certainly could be. A team that has fewer people in protocol would seem to have an advantage. And I’d take any competitive advantage I could get. Stats show that health, as in players being able to play, is one of the bigger correlations to success in sports. Best ability is availability right?
