Despite being just 2-3 after five games, Bruce Arians’ staff is thought highly of by some around the league. So highly in fact, they could possibly be coaching elsewhere in 2020.
At least Vegas thinks so anyway.
SportsBettingDime.com released a list of coaches and the odds of them being the next head coach of the Washington Redskins after Jay Gruden was fired on Monday morning. Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich topped the group of potential candidates at 11/2.
Another Bucs name that has surfaced is defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. ESPN Insider Ed Werder tweeted it on Monday morning.
In a recent conversation with someone who knows Dan Snyder well and is aware of his thoughts on potential next #Redskins head coaches that any list of candidates would include: #Steelers HC Mike Tomlin, #Bucs DC Todd Bowles, #Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy.

With 11 games to go and a lot of season left both of the mentioned Bucs assistants could still see their stock rise or fall depending on how the rest of the season goes. Tampa Bay’s defense is currently ranked 26th in the NFL, but is second in rushing defense and the Buccaneers offense sits 18th in the NFL averaging 360 yards pregame.
