When Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston was drafted by the Buccaneers in 2015, he talked about wanting to give back and work with young people. A lot of athletes give lip service to these types of things, and while many debate Winston’s progression on the football field, not many can argue about his work off of it.

This offseason saw Winston even more engaging with his Dream Forever Foundation, locally, and and also back in his home state of Alabama. Recently Winston spent an entire week working with young people in Alabama, from taking kids shopping at Dick’s Sporting Goods, to a visit to a Bessemer, Ala. library and a $5,000 donation to football camps. Then Winston wrapped up the week by loading up two vans in Bessemer and taking a trip to Etowah County to Keenum Lakes and Hunting Lodge for a memorable fishing trip and return to nature.

  5. Ratings and stats mean dick. Raheem was correct it’s for losers.

Sunshine moron Show me where he’s rated after he doesn’t have leagues worst defense, and 27th ranked run game and I’ll say he’s that low. Otherwise it’s all BS and stupid opinion.

  7. I think it’s great he’s helping the community but what I would really like to see is that he takes his receivers and his Center up to Big Bear in California away from distractions and works routes and drills tell they drop the way the top 10 quarterbacks do.

  9. I’m no fan of Winston, but who in their right mind would rank the QB who led the NFL’s most efficient air attack 30th in the league?

  11. He should have left that last fish on the line and thrown it back in to wait for a real fish to come along to eat it.

Anyone who understands bringing the defence back on the field not rested because of league leading ints, anyone counting wins in last 2 years.
Anyone who thinks fumbles are bad.
Anyone who thinks suspension for sexual assault is bad.
Anyone that thinks eating fingers is bad PR!

  13. Oh bob. When did he lead the league in INT’s? Sure wasn’t last year. And that defense you speak of that was HISTORICALLY bad. Not just in giving up points, but yards. Also 27th in getting turnovers. Oh I forgot about the kicking game that also ranked in the bottom half of the league. Do you even know how football works? Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t win with this team last year and he even had a better defense and oline. But apparently you tank a quarterbacks record as a staple for a team sport. I keep thinking one day you’ll figure this out, but alas, you’re truly clueless. I try to work with you to hopefully instill knowledge that’ll help you from looking so lost in conversations but you won’t pay attention. Winston certainly ya had his share of bonehead plays during his career, but there was five games alone last year that the defense and or kicking game lost it for the Bucs. Yet somehow that falls into the “quarterback win/loss record” to you. Wake up my dude!
