The Bucs were happy to see the return of two injured starters to practice on Friday. Tampa Bay tight end Rob Gronkowski and outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Gronkowski was seen stretching like he was going to participate, while Pierre-Paul had his helmet on at the start of practice.
Gronkowski is dealing with sore ribs after being injured in last week’s 34-24 loss at Los Angeles. Pierre-Paul missed the last two games since injuring his shoulder against Dallas in Week 1.
Running back Giovani Bernard, who injured his knee in the fourth quarter while scoring a touchdown against the Rams, was not at Friday’s practice and has missed practice all week.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians will have an injury update after Friday’s practice.
