The Bucs were happy to see the return of two injured starters to practice on Friday. Tampa Bay tight end Rob Gronkowski and outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Gronkowski was seen stretching like he was going to participate, while Pierre-Paul had his helmet on at the start of practice.
Gronkowski is dealing with sore ribs after being injured in last week’s 34-24 loss at Los Angeles. Pierre-Paul missed the last two games since injuring his shoulder against Dallas in Week 1.
Running back Giovani Bernard, who injured his knee in the fourth quarter while scoring a touchdown against the Rams, was not at Friday’s practice and has missed practice all week.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians will have an injury update after Friday’s practice.
JPP hasn’t played last 2 games? So he didn’t play against Atlanta?
Also, in Fab 5 it says Tryon will be making his second start – so are you implying JPP won’t play this week, even though he returned to practice today?
