Former Bucs wide receiver Louis Murphy was arrested on Wednesday for carrying a concealed firearm according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrest inquiry website.
It appears Murphy was at Tampa International Airport when the arrest took place, this according to the address (4100 GEORGE J BEAN PARKWAY) listed on the HCSO record. Murphy posted a $2,000 bond and was released according to records.
Murphy was arrested in 2011 in Gainesville for having 11 Viagra pills without a prescription, and last July after attending a wedding became intoxicated and was locked in the Flagler Museum where he broke a glass pane to get to a phone after being locked in. Murphy was not charged in the museum incident after working out a deal to pay for the damages.
The former Gators standout missed all of 2016 after suffering a knee injury the previous year, and was released by the Buccaneers on November 29.
