The “Weapons for Winston” theme continued in the third round on Friday night of the NFL Draft, with the selection of Penn State wide receiver Chris Godwin.

The Bucs signed free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson last March, and added O.J. Howard in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Godwin(6-1, 209) was the Delaware Gatorade High School Player of the Year in 2013 before signing with Penn State. Godwin earned third-team All-Big Ten honors with 69 catches for 1,101 yards and five scores as a sophomore. Last season Godwin was a TD machine, scoring 11 times on 59 receptions for 982 yards, averaging 16.6 yards per catch as a senior.
