New is always better, right? Not so fast, my friend. Sometimes those vets need love, too.
Per Pro Football Focus, the Buccaneers had two of the best 9th-year players across the entire league on their roster last year: Defensive end Robert Ayers and offensive tackle Demar Dotson.

The whole 9th-year part is pretty specific, but even though Ayers is no longer on the squad, it is good for Bucs fans to be reassured that just because their long-time right tackle Dotson might be aging, his production is still top of his age group — and very solid overall across all ages around the league.
