The Bucs announced on Wednesday that they’ve signed safety Orion Stewart.

Stewart most recently played for the San Antonio Commanders in the Alliance of American Football, but comes with a little bit of NFL experience. He originally signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2017 and later spent time on the Buffalo Bills’ and Washington Redskins’ practice squads throughout the year. Prior to the 2018 season Stewart signed with the New York Giants, but he was released in September and has yet to participate in game action at the NFL level.

Stewart played all four years at Baylor, tallying 244 total tackles with 6.5 going for loss, two sacks, 11 interceptions, 26 passes defended and one forced fumble. He also earned All-Big 12 honors in his senior season.
