The Buccaneers have added a veteran running back, a move first reported by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and confirmed by PewterReport.com.
The #Bucs are signing RB Kerwynn Williams, source said. He was released by the #Lions last week, and has familiarity with Bruce Arians and OC Byron Leftwich from their #AZCardinals days.

Williams entered the league in 2013 as a seventh-round pick with the Colts, and has played for five teams prior to Tampa Bay, including Bruce Arians and the Cardinals from 2014-2017.
Williams has ran for 971 yards on 219 carries and four touchdowns. He has added 126 yards receiving on 15 catches over the course of his career.
Williams last played for the Lions before being released last week by Detroit. The Bucs added former Cardinals running back Andre Ellington earlier this year, along with guard Earl Watford and linebacker Deone Bucannon, all players who all have played for Arians in the past.
