The Eagles will likely be without a key offensive weapon for Tampa Bay’s Thursday Night Football at Philadelphia. Tight end Dallas Goedert has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, according to the Eagles official website.

Goedert is Philadelphia’s third-leading receiver this year with 19 catches for 216 yards (14.4 avg.) and two touchdowns, which is tied for the team lead. The 6-foot-5, 256-pound tight end has supplanted Zach Ertz as the starter. Goedert, a second-round pick in 2018, had 46 catches for 524 yards with three touchdowns in 11 games last year.
The 30-year old Ertz, a three-time Pro Bowler, will replace Goedert if he’s not able to get out of the COVID protocols prior to Thursday night. Ertz has 14 catches for 160 yards (11.4 avg.) and one touchdown this season.
