Pewter Report publishes the latest NFL Mock Drafts on Mondays. Find out who some of the top draft websites have the Bucs picking in the first round. Some mock drafts go deeper and have multiple rounds.

No. 27 – Buccaneers – Boston College G Zion Johnson
The Bucs are likely to lose center Ryan Jensen in free agency this offseason. The team is hoping that second-year player Robert Hainsey can step into the lineup for Jensen, but they’ll likely bring in a cheaper veteran to compete too. At guard, it might be trickier. Tampa Bay could turn to the draft for help in April.

The Bucs could lose Alex Cappa to a budding interior offensive line market. If they do, Aaron Stinnie and Nick Leverett would be in-house candidates to replace him. If that’s the best the Bucs can do, I think they’ll be fine with it. But if the board falls this way, Tampa Bay almost has to consider drafting Johnson. He could be the best guard in a class with very few sure things. Free agency will determine the Bucs needs, but Johnson next to Tristan Wirfs for the next decade seems fun.

No. 27 – Buccaneers – Penn State WR Jahan Dotson
With wide receiver Chris Godwin potentially moving on, the Bucs have to reload at receiver. Dotson can play outside, but he has the route running, hands and spectacular catch ability to replace Godwin in the slot, as well.

CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson

No. 27 – Buccaneers – Illinois S Kerby Joseph
Everyone in the Bucs’ secondary other than Antoine Winfield is either entering free agency or has one year left on their deal. Which brings us to Kerby Joseph, who flew under the radar for much of the fall because he was playing for the Illini. But he might be one of the most dynamic safeties in this class — he covers huge swaths of real estate in centerfield and has the anticipation skills to consistently make plays coming downhill.

No. 27 – Buccaneers – Arkansas WR Treylon Burks
Even if the Bucs keep Chris Godwin on a long-term extension, the lack of quality depth behind him and Mike Evans was exposed in 2021. This year’s loaded receiver class is the perfect opportunity for the Bucs to add another dynamic pass-catcher, and Burks’ combination of size, athleticism and physicality would make him the perfect fit.

No. 27 – Buccaneers – Oklahoma DT Perrion Winfrey
Anyone surprised by Perrion Winfrey’s domination at the Senior Bowl clearly hasn’t been paying attention to the Oklahoma defensive tackle’s college career. Winfrey is a rare build, standing at 6’3″, 303 pounds, and over 35″ arms. He’s explosive at the point of attack, and he puts his length to devastating use on his way to the opposing backfield. With multiple potential departures from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defensive front, including Ndamukong Suh, he would make an immediate impact alongside Vita Vea.
