He’d be surprised if shaq leaves the bucs; expect a one year extension for brady with more guaranteed money that saves cap room this year; and he expects gronk back but would be surprised if gronk signs for peanuts.

It wouldn’t surprise me for us to do this kind of thing with anyone who we think will be here for the rest of their careers. As far as dead money deals go, the David deal is relatively low risk. If he stays past the next two years, we can turn some of those dead hits in the three years after his deal expires into live money. Gronk may only plan to play 1 or 2 more years. Or maybe longer, I think it’s tough to exactly predict with him. So sign him for 3 years with a signing bonus… Read more »
