– From the Buccaneers communications department
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday activated tight end Antony Auclair from the Reserve/Injured list.
Auclair (6-6, 256) has played in 33 games, making 18 starts, since joining the Buccaneers as a college free agent out of Laval (Canada) in 2017. He missed six games this season after being placed on Injured Reserve on Sept. 18. Over his four seasons in Tampa Bay, Auclair has made 10 receptions for 84 yards. The Quebec, Canada, native wears No. 82 for Tampa Bay.
In addition, the Buccaneers waived offensive lineman John Molchon.
Constantly churning that roster to get the best talented players on the active roster. Next…
Any word on Justin Evans?? He sure showed lots of promise and I feel he would be great in our system.
no tellin
Arians said he was a very good blocking TE. He can catch too and play special teams. Good news,
Go Bucs!
Auclair robably replaces OT Haeg as that extra lineman on some downs. Gives the Bucs that extra option of either blocking or leaking out for a pass.
Auclair has been a very good blocker and learning to catch the ball. He was originally projected to be drafted by the Bucs in the 5th round of the 2017 draft, but OJ Howard fell to them in the draft. Auclair was still sought after by the Bucs as an UDFA.
Probably put Molchon on the practice squad.
OG John Molchon was also on Injured Reserve, activated and then released. There is an open spot on the Practice Squad so he may end up there. The player released to make a spot for TE Anthony Auclair was LB Quinton Bell, who may also be a candidate for the Practice Squad. As we all know, to make room for WR Antonio Brown the Bucs will need to make a roster move on Tuesday. Of course injuries could be a determining factor, but there is little likelihood that there would be 8 wide receivers on the roster. Absent injury, I… Read more »
Good to hear. He’s a solid pass blocker and another safety net for Brady. I wonder if OJ Howard might be in play for a trade since we’re not going to pay him that kind of money he expects he will get? I wonder if Stefan Gilmore might be a trade target?
I am new to this board. But I am wondering why no one is calling for some help on left offensive tackle. I think his name is Donovan, #76? He constantly need double team help leaving the rest of the line short handed.
Hmmm,, I wonder if this mean Gronk is not 100% and deteriorated since last week.
thanks for sharing the information, it was helpful to me. word finder
