Tom Brady capped off Week 17 by winning the NFL FedEx Air Player Of The Week for the second time this season after completing 26 of 41 passes for 399 yards and four touchdowns in the Bucs’ 44-27 win over the Falcons.

Brady defeated quarterbacks Kirk Cousins of the Vikings and Deshaun Watson from the Texans by a fan vote to win the award.

It was the second game in a row in which Brady threw four touchdown passes in a game, with two each going to Chris Godwinn and Antonio Brown last Sunday. He has thrown eight touchdowns over his last six quarters of football, getting to 40 on the year. That marks the second highest touchdown passing total of his career.

Brady previously won the award back in Week 4 after throwing for 369 yards and five touchdowns in a win over the Chargers. He also won offensive player of the week and followed that up by winning offensive player of the month for the month of October.

As the hot streak continues for Brady and the Bucs’ offense in 2021, they’ll look to bring that into the postseason as they play on the road against the Washington Football Team in the Super Wildcard round.
