NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Monday that the Bucs have claimed OL Aaron Stinnie from the Tennessee Titans, waiving Nate Trewyn to make room for the roster move.

Stinnie played his college career at James Madison, a three-year starter who earned FCS All-American and first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors in two separate seasons.

Signing with Tennessee as an undrafted free agent in 2018, Stinnie appeared in four games over his two seasons with the Titans before being released.

Glad we’re looking at OL. Never understood why we released Kevin Pamphile. He was a decent starter, solid back-up guard. We drafted him in the 5th round back in 2014 then released him couple years ago, picked up by Titans. Better than Cappa and way better than any depth we have on the roster today.

Pamphile was much better 2016-2017 than he was in 2018, when he was part of the liability along with Benenoch on the OL.

Pamphile wasn’t here in 2018. He didn’t have a good 2017, but was still better than some fo the guys we’ve put on the field since he left. Point is he’s a solid back-up with starting experience, which is exactly the role he’s in with the Titans. He would have added depth too our O line where we have none.

Better than Cappa in 2018? I agree. Better than Cappa in 2019? Not so sure about that.

We should be looking at any and al Oline help… There’s bound to be someone that’s at least decent depth…

Have to agree with you EricNv. Pamphille was the weakest link in 2017. The coaching staff had great hopes he could replace Mankin’s but that never materialized.
Pamphile has also spent a good deal of his time on the injured list and taking Sunday’s off with the Titans.

He’s six foot three at best. I’m not digging this one.

And to think that OG/OT Dalton Risner was there for the Bucs in the 2nd round. tsk, tsk, tsk. Why can’t Licht ever give the Bucs instant starters to help today than the next year. It’s costing us coaches and aggravations.

Could we be looking at moving Cappa to RT, and plugging this guy in at Guard?

Hockey Duckie you know good and well that Licht got Bunting and Dean instead of taking Risener and those CBs will give us two outstanding CBs for the future. Moreover, we won’t need Risener at RT next year. Cappa is a former OT in college and should be our RT next year and we can then move D. Smith to RG and get a Great LT with our first pick next year.

I more so see us picking the best OT in round one (HOPEFULLY), keeping Cappa at RG, and letting the first rounder and D Smith battle over Tackle spots.

Just out of honest curiosity, “two outstanding CBs for the future”? What makes you say that? On what basis? Bunting and Dean, right? “outstanding”….Do you think they’re pro bowl material?….and what are you basing that on?

Good job Bust Licht! Pick up a UDFA discard to patch your leaky line.
