Gerald McCoy has been a topic of discussion for months as his future with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers remains in question.

Since being drafted by the Bucs in 2010, McCoy has been a cornerstone on Tampa Bay’s defense for a decade and put together an impressive résumé that includes 54.5 sacks, 79 tackles for loss, 140 quarterback hits and six consecutive Pro Bowl appearances between 2012 and 2017.

But as an aging defensive tackle, on a team that’s strapped for cap space with his presumable replacement of the future coming via a first-round selection in 2018, and who’s scheduled to earn $13 million this coming season, it’s understandable why his future with the Bucs could be reevaluated.

One thing McCoy wants everyone to avoid questioning, however, is his work ethic, and he made that loud and clear through his Instagram story on Sunday.

In the video, McCoy appears to be fresh out of a workout and shows that he’s even got his kids at the gym with him, calling himself an, “All-Pro on and off the field.”

McCoy may be sporting a different color scheme than red and pewter in 2019, the only palette he’s known since leaving Oklahoma, with this video he fires back at fans and critics who have doubted his work ethic or love for the game.
