Hot off the presses of Gerald McCoy’s appearance on Fox’s show Undisputed, the guys give their reaction to the comments McCoy made regarding how things were left with the Bucs.

Then Scott Reynolds gives insight to his latest Fab 5, and also reveals his text exchange he had with McCoy once the aftermath of his show was done.

Outside of any McCoy news, the group discusses the restructuring of Mike Evans’ contract, followed by answering more questions from the fans.

The topics vary from who on the roster could be franchise tagged next year, what’s the best type of dip that Mark likes to use, and if it would benefit the Bucs more to hold onto Ryan Griffin as the third quarterback or keep Nick Fitzgerald on as a gadget type of player. Buckle up for an intense ride in this week’s show.

  1. Feelings don’t matter when it comes to respect. Respect is earned and a grown man like McCoy still hasn’t learned this fundamental truth.

McCoy and his agent played hardball and received the result they wanted with McCoy’s release. Can’t turn around and cry about an outcome McCoy and his agent had a hand in making it happen. Also, McCoy as the veteran of the team had the opportunity to go meet the staff but chose not to. When Gruden was hired Bucs veterans were there to meet Gruden at his press conference. McCoy’s lack of agency will be a tarnish on a legacy of a very good football player. It is always about McCoy but never about the team or organization. McCoy is not a lost college kid as he is a grown man now and if he doesn’t want the responsibility of being a leader but a follower so be it. McCoy claims to be Batman but he is clearly a Robin.
