In this week’s post-game Bucs Pewter Nation Podcast, Scott Reynolds and Trevor Sikkema take on the topic of the Bucs’ big win in new Orleans duo style. The two break down just how the unthinkable happened, how Koetter deserves a lot of credit, and what we can expect from Monken as the play caller moving forward.
Why the emphasis on play calling rather than team execution? I don’t think there’s that much of a difference in the play calling. I recall – but haven’t looked up – that Fitzpatrick had a QB sneak last year when Coach K was calling the plays.
Good podcast, I’ll continue to listen. Overall, it’s just a bit too self-congratulatory for my taste, but a lot of good points.
Nice show guys. It’s fun to enjoy the moment and the potential of the team, but I have to put on the brakes in my mind. Like you guys said…we looked solid against the Bears last year in Week 1, then came out and crapped the bed against Minnesota, then looked very average against a terrible Giants team. But the energy and optimism is encouraging.
