Bruce Arians has said that he did not believe in drafting offensive linemen in early rounds because you’re just helping out your next head coach. In other words most young linemen typically take a few years to be coached up to starter quality. This did not mean he opposed taking Tristan Wifs where they took him last year. Wirfs is a rare exception to the rule. Wirfs exceeded their expectations and lived up to their highest hopes, I would think. I will say it again.
